Congratulations to the Winners of Our Halloween Pet Costume Contest!

We'd like to start out by saying Thank You to everyone who attended the First Annual Halloween Pet Costume Party at TeaCups Puppies & Boutique, together with Pets Are People Too! It was a great success, and it couldn't have been for a better cause!

We were able to raise over $350 for "Glimmer of Life" between the Charity Raffle and Pet Portrait Events, and three of our rescue dogs found forever homes! We would also like to give a special thanks to Lys Rubin for her generous donation of $1,000! Thank you, Lys!

As for the party...it was a blast! We couldn't believe how many guests attended, and the costumes were amazing, it was SO HARD to choose!! We'd like to congratulate Elizabeth & Juliet Ayler, the winners of our Charity Raffle AND the following winners of the Costume Contest:

First Annual Halloween Pet Costume Party at TeaCups

If you're in the South Florida area, come join us for an afternoon of Trick-or-Treats, refreshments, photos, and fun - all for a good cause!

TeaCups & Pets Are People Too's 1st annual Halloween Pet Costume Party will benefit "Glimmer of Life," a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for sickly dogs in desperate need of surgery in order to survive, of which would otherwise be euthanized.

This year, we'll be hosting a Costume Contest, a Raffle, Halloween Pet Portraits, and an adoption event! Check out the details below!

HALLOWEEN DOG COSTUME CONTEST:
Enter your dog for a chance to win the Grand Prize! Costumes will be judged on creativity. 1st place winner will receive a $200 shopping spree, 2nd place will receive a $100 shopping spree, and 3rd place will receive a $50 shopping spree! Contest will begin at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 31st, and judging will take place shortly after. Contestants must be present to win!!

CHARITY RAFFLE:

For a $5 donation ($6 if you pay online or with a credit card) to our non-profit organization, "Glimmer of Life", you can enter the drawing to win a luxury gift basket (with a retail value over $300!) filled with fabulous new pet products for Fall! You are NOT required to be present at the time of the drawing to win! Online customers can participate by purchasing a raffle ticket HERE. Please be advised that there will be a shipping charge of $10 to ship the basket if our winner is not local. Drawing will take place on Saturday afternoon of October 31st. Winner will be contacted shortly after.

HALLOWEEN PET PORTRAITS:

For a $10 sitting fee, which will be donated to "Glimmer of Life" small dog rescue, you can have your pet's holiday portrait taken by an award-winning, professional pet photographer! Packages start at just $40 plus shipping. Event will take place Friday and Saturday, October 30th and 31st from 10am to 6pm.

PET ADOPTION EVENT:

Adopt before you shop! We understand that most people would prefer a cute little puppy, but we also know that you can find the same qualities and companionship in an older or special needs dog that you can in a puppy. Please consider adoption before you shop. There are thousands of lonely and hungry pets out there in desperate need of a loving home. We will be hosting a Pet Adoption Event on Friday and Saturday, October 30th and 31st from 10am to 6pm. So if you're looking for an addition to your family, please pay a visit and you just might fall in love. There will be a small adoption fee that goes to "Glimmer of Life" to help pay for the cost of spaying/neutering and any other health care that may have been required at the time of rescue.
